Social worker

Leaving a loved one to a hospice and eventually losing him or her involves a fair number of different kinds of feelings, as well as practical matters. A social worker helps the patient and family in matters regarding social security and social services, such as applying for care-taking support, pension, support for family members as caretakers, social security and transport services.

With the social worker Liisa Lehtipuu one can discuss questions, thoughts and issues raised by the illness, or ask for advice in practical matters. For information about payments and payment vouchers, please contact the social worker.

The social worker also assists in everyday matters dealing with passing away and is responsible for services concerning relative support, either through direct participation or the organization of different groups.
