Nursing staff

Pirkanmaa Hospice is staffed by professional and committed personnel that includes nurses, and various practical nurses.

We keep our skills up-to-date through active attendance of training courses. Our staff also trains other professionals in the implementation of practical matters of hospice care, and gives consulting advice with special issues concerning hospice care.

Our head nurse is the staff foreperson in addition to being responsible for care work and its development together with individual nurses. The head nurse also acts as an expert in hospice care in training sessions and as a co-operation manager between the hospice and referring units.
