The Pirkanmaa Hospice home care unit employs nurses that make home visit on a regular basis or if a need arises. The patient’s condition, symptoms and medication are checked during the home visit. If need be, various procedures can also be performed.
Home care physician
The Pirkanmaa Hospice home care physician is available at the day center should you want to meet. The physician also makes house calls either alone or with the nurse. The current home care physician is geriatric specialist Elisa Marjamäki.
