Fundraising

Most of the funding for Pirkanmaa Hospice comes from Pirkanmaa hospital district and the city of Tampere who purchase and use the hospice services. Also other municipalities use our services.

Our voluntary workers take part in fundraising by maintaining Kymppi-Kirppis, a second-hand market. They also organize bake sales around Christmas and Easter time, various aid drives, and take part in events organized by our co-operating partners.

Donations by individuals and various communities and companies have given substantial help for the hospice in guaranteeing and further developing our services. Through donations we can make customize patients’ wishes and needs, and increase the coziness and functionality of our environment. The hospice accepts funding through the relief association or through direct donations to the hospice bank account.
